Students in Ms. Lori DeVarso’s fifth-grade class recently participated in an “Egg Drop Challenge.” The students were tasked with creating a device that can keep a raw egg intact when dropped from a significant height. Students built their devices from a limited amount of materials. Nine students created devices that were “Egg-tastic!” Their devices protected the raw egg from a height of about 7 feet.
