Students in Mr. Bryan Palermo’s Science Research class of the Junior-Senior High School continue to work on their Neuromaker STEM kits building robot hands. They learned engineering, anatomy, computer programming and problem-solving as they developed robotic hands and controlled its movements.

They will have the opportunity to participate in the Neuromaker Creative Challenge, which is an open design competition for middle and high school students. This competition is slated to take place in June and will allow participating students from around the world the opportunity to investigate the connections between biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, programming and more.
