Members of the Junior-Senior High School’s newspaper, The East Rockaway Gull, celebrated the many accomplishments of the 2020-2021 school year. This year, the newspaper published over 200 articles, which covered school events, hot topics, COVID-19 updates and issues affecting the local and global community.

Members were presented with “paper-plate” awards from co-presidents Maddy Prucha and Emily McLaughlin. Co-advisers Sara Perrone and Valerie Parasmo are very proud of all the hard work put forth by Gull members during such a challenging and unique school year.

Gull members look forward to next school year and hope that the East Rockaway school community will take some time to check out our school newspaper.
