Members of the Junior-Senior High School Dignity Club met with staff from the Cultural Competency Task Force. The purpose of this meeting was to get input from students about how a more inclusive environment can be fostered.

Students were divided into groups and asked a specific question about what they would like to see in the school moving forward. Topics included how to help all students feel that their identity is affirmed, what schoolwide norms should be established and how to physically represent diversity throughout the building. The feedback will be used to create a plan for various activities for the next school year.
