First graders are utilizing Play Doh to help with motor skills and memory during their Sight Word Station activities.
These crafty scholars molded words with tricky sounds to help them learn to spell and recall them more naturally. The Play Doh has become a part of our weekly vocabulary, spelling and literacy lessons, helping us visualize challenging words and even learn new ones. It's also a great help during our Fundations and Wonders textbook activities.
