On Mar. 17, East Rockaway math teachers attended the Long Island Mathematics Conference. LIMACON welcomes mathematics educators from the primary through university level and provides opportunities for professional interactions and offers a forum for exchanging concerns, innovative ideas, and achievable goals. This year’s conference theme was: Why do Many Children Hate Math and How Can We Fix it?
