The district is excited to welcome 19 new staff members to the district for the 2021-2022 school year. At the end of August, the teachers participated in the district’s annual new teacher orientation in preparation for their new journey as members of the East Rockaway family.

During the orientation, teachers learned the district’s practices, initiatives, curriculum overview and expectations through a series of workshops. They also met with administrators and directors.

East Rockaway’s new staff members include Kirsten Anderson, Jeremy Brandel, Heather Bolanos, Emily Brostowin, Molly Butler, Dame Forbes, Alexis Freudenberg, Fernando Gomez, Valentino Grayson, Gary Gregory, Jana Guber, Ann Kerner, Alison King, Megan Librizzi, Rebecca Mantle, Kallen McNoble, Sheila Olsen, Joseph Polite and Estefany Toribio.
